NEON


I am not one to spend a gajillion dollars on a trend (I mean, c'om my favorite store to shop at is the Salvation Army!) But I am digging the neon popularity right now. Which is actually really surprising to me because my wardrobe mostly consists of black!
Old Navy has some cute and affordable neon colored clothes. I purchased this neon green skirt and I wasn't sure what to wear with it. So, of course I googled it and look at how many different ways people are wearing them!

Sewing Baby Items

 I love me some babies! And with so many people I know having babies, I love making them some baby stuff! Here is what I have been dabbling in:

I found some towel like remnants at JoAnn Fabrics and I made some really cute burp cloths! I also like this style too.

This baby apron (AKA: The Bapron) was a little tricky to do at first, but then I used bigger bias fabric and it was a whirl to whip this up! I love, love, love these and they can easily be reversible.

Baking!

I had my first ever successful Pampered Chef party a couple weeks ago. I actually had friends come, and purchase stuff! I say this in shock because I had a bit of a party curse for awhile. I wouldn't like to have these events because well, no one would come. I mean I had like 2 people come to a Pampered Chef party awhile back...after waiting an hour to see if anyone else was going to come! Disappointing to say the least. But anywho, lets focus on the positive that the curse was lifted!! I wasn't so much in love with Pampered Chef as I am after getting free stuff :). 

I got a Brownie Pan that is my new best friend.

(Real BFF'S you should appreciate this because I will now be baking 'til my hearts content and you will revel in my goodies!).

The first day I got it I made mini banana breads for goodness sakes! I am somewhat lacking in the creativity of cooking department when I get a new item. So, of course, I googled it and I found the most awesome site for recipes! Mini meat loafs, jalapeno corn breads, deep dish pizza, mini omelets!! The list goes on and on!
