Birthday Food Processor

Well, I am officially over 30! By just a year, but over 30 all the same! My birthday was on Friday and I had such a wonderful day. I woke up to find that my husband got me a humongous balloon, a tattoo gift certificate and A FOOD PROCESSOR!

I finally opened the processor up last night in hopes that there would be a magical recipe booklet accompanying the processor since I do not know how to use it properly! To my dismay, there were just regular 'ol instructions. I went to my trusty pinterest.com to find some recipes and found it a little lacking on the food processor recipes. Honestly, I am sure it is just common sense and just getting in there and getting my hands dirty and trying it out. But I need something to work with before I just get in there and break it or something!

I am too excited to wait any longer to try it out so here is what I am doing this morning:

-Slicing Carrots and Cucumbers

I found this video on YouTube.com and it really helped me out because it gave a visual to work with.

-Hash browns

My kids tend to not like hash browns as much as my husband and I, but I have lots of potatoes in my pantry right now! Good thing I found a recipe for frozen hash browns!

I figured those are good ones to start off with. I will let you know how it goes!! Cross your fingers :)
